Sev Bhaji Recipe | Sev Ki Sabzi | Sev Bhaji

Sev sabzi is a traditional Indian dish made with vegetables and sev, which are thin, crispy noodles made from chickpea flour. Shev Bhaji/Sev ki sabzi

Ingredients for Shev Bhaji/Sev ki sabzi:

Oil
Cumin seeds

Cinnamon

small and big cardamom

Garlic

Gramflour

Onions

Tomatoes

Sugar

Salt

Kashmiri lal mirch

Turmeric powder

Coriander powder

Red chilli powder

Garam masala

Chat masala

Dry fenugreek

Cream

Coriander leaves

Sev

Cooking Method to make Sev ki sabzi:

  • Add oil in a pan
  • Add Cumin seeds
  • Add crushed Small and big cardamom, Cloves, Cinnamon, nutmeg
  • then add Dry fenugreek
  • add garlic paste
  • Add 1 spoon gramflour and roast
  • then add 2 grated onions or you can chop too
  • Mix all and add a little sugar to get the onions and texture brown
  • add grated tomatoes and cook nicely
  • add kashmiri mirch for texture
  • add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder
  • add garam masala and chat masala
  • mix all nicely
  • then add tomato puree
  • add lemon juice and gravy will be ready
  • add coriander leaves
  • you can store this gravy.
  • Then add salt acc. to taste.
  • add a little tomato ketchup and mix
  • then add water and cook it nicely
  • let oil releases, close with lid and cook
  • cook at medium flame,
  • add cream and mix
  • if you don’t have cream you can add milk too
  • add a little hot water and add coriander leaves,
  • gravy is ready, then add sev whichever you wan’t
  • and let it cook for some sec.
  • Enjoy sev sabzi with hot chapati or parathas
