Bay Leaf

Cooking Method:

  1. Soak Chole whole night
  2. Take cooker, add oil
  3. add large onions and coriander and roast them
  4. off the flame, when it gets cool,
  5. grind that and make tomato puree also
  6. again, add oil in a cooker
  7. add bay leaf
  8. add asafoetida and cumin seeds
  9. add Garlic and add cinnamon and cardomom
  10. mix them
  11. if oil is less, add more oil
  12. then add tomato puree
  13. add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder
  14. mix it properly
  15. add a little water if its sticking
  16. then add onions paste
  17. and mix nicely
  18. add gree chillies chopped
  19. add chole masala
  20. then again mix
  21. add water and chole as shown in video
  22. Blow 3 whistles at high flame and 2 at low or med. flame then,
  23. add garam masala and dry fenugreek
  24. and cook for 3-5 min. and chole is ready
  25. Garnish with lemon and coriander leaves.
  26. Enjoy eating with Paratha, Rice, Chapati
